Amongst our solar technology partners are true innovators that pride themselves with award-winning design and production of panels stretching beyond ordinary expectations to produce more output with increased efficiency, and able to power commercial enterprises with enormous energy needs across all industries.
With over 35 years in industry innovation and leadership, top-ranked SunPower Solar delivers both solar panel technology and systems integration. SunPower is an excellent choice for hotel parking lot carports, which make an elegant statement on sustainability, while providing a potential new revenue stream from guests choosing the luxury of shaded parking.
SunPower solar energy systems produce 70% more power from the same space than conventional panels. In fact, the SunPower systems are so efficient that they set the world record. Backed by a 25-year warranty, SunPower systems not only transform more sunshine into electricity, but their innovative and elegant design outshines conventional panels.
As a global leader in energy generation – including solar, fuel cells, and combined heat and power – Panasonic is uniquely equipped to help hotels of all sizes achieve greater efficiency, whether their energy bills run $6,000 per month or $600,000 per month.
Panasonic has been in the solar business for over 40 years, and has been providing high-efficiency, high-quality solar panels for more than two decades. Starting with a hotel’s unique energy profile, business strategy, budget and customer base, Panasonic can help a 25-room boutique hotel seeking to green its operation with solar panels to a 500-room resort pursuing a cost-effective way to meet both electric and hot water demands,
For WhistlePig, a crafter of some of the most sought after and priciest rye whiskey from its picturesque 500-acre Vermont farm, Panasonic solar solutions offered a way to produce clean energy at their bottling plant and warehouse, with a dramatic looking rooftop designed to feature the distinctive company logo. The array produces 4,500 kWh of solar energy every month, about five times more than the average monthly usage of an American home, and reduces greenhouse gas by the equivalent of 90,000 gallons of gasoline consumed.
America’s Photovoltaic (PV) solar module company Mission Solar Energy was recognized in the 2019 Edition PV Module Index, as a high achievement manufacturer and ranking top 10 of all modules tested for LID. The RETC index is a yearly compilation of reliability, performance, and quality indices generated in collaboration with leading PV module manufactures.
Mission Solar Energy was recognized in the report as one of the manufacturers achieving less than 1% of degradation in the dynamic mechanical load test. Following that achievement, they were also ranked Top 10 of all modules tested for LID.
With their “mission” to continue developing high-efficiency solar technology and supporting production improvements, San Antonio-based Mission Solar is a good fit especially for remote hotels and resorts in the southwest United States, where the energy infrastructure is not as robust as in more populated areas. Their panels are backed by a 25- year power and product warranty.
Larger full-service hotels and resorts can benefit from Silfab Solar’s commercial panels, which have been trusted to provide energy solutions for US military buildings, national retail chains and US sports stadiums. Recently Silfab Solar manufactured approximately 36,500 SimbaX enhanced bifacial panels featuring SiPV performance enhancing technology for the Alberta Solar One utility, a 13.7MW project in Burdett, Alberta. The project will supply the equivalent energy needs of about 3,000 homes, offsetting about 12,000 tonnes of carbon annually.

European-based SunStyle has had tremendous growth since it’s founding in 2010. Its installations in Europe and the United States include everything from educational to agricultural buildings, helping commerical and institutional buildings achieve maximum energy savings while delivering a beautiful, uniform finish.
Projects include adorning the entire 68,000 m² warehouse roof surfaces at the Saint Charles Solaire power plant in Perpignan, France to generate an output of nine megawatts. Colour technology developed by SunStyle on the roof and exterior facades made The French Pavilion’s theme, “Lumière, Lumières”—or “Light, Enlightenment” at Expo 2020 in Dubai possible. The blue and green SunStyle solar tiles promote the Expo theme of renewable energy.
Hoteliers desiring a very futuristic, cutting-edge design to their solar project, SunStyle’s “dragonscale” solar roof fits the bill. Developed in collaboration with Google and topping the media-giant’s Silicon Valley campus, dragonscale has the capacity to generate nearly 7 megawatts of energy a year with 90,000 silver solar panels. The first-of-its kind solar design uses a highly textured prismatic glass shingle with a unique coating technology. That coating gives the overlapping panels a unique sparkle, and earned the name ‘dragonscale’.
