Installing micro-turbines at the New York City Marriott - Midtown Manhattan to capture heat waste generated by their turbines in producing electricity and transforming it into usable energy, is estimated to save about $80,000 annually and reduce annual carbon emissions by 1,700 tons and nitrogen oxide emissions by more than 10 tons - enough to power 700 homes.
